FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions:

Why consult a certified Bach Centre practitioner?
A certified practitioner works in accordance with the Bach Centre’s Code of Practice. They guarantee the integrity of the method and help you choose the remedies best suited to your needs. Their aim is to guide you so that you can eventually use the remedies independently. Dr. Bach wished for the flowers to be present in every family!
Certification is not an officially recognized diploma in France; it is a quality accreditation issued by the Bach Centre in England. It confirms successful completion of Level III training, solid knowledge of the method, and a commitment to practicing Bach flower consultation in accordance with the professional standards defined in the “Code of Practice for Registered Practitioners” published by the Bach Centre. Certified practitioners are also known by the English acronym BFRP (Bach Foundation Registered Practitioner).
The list of certified practitioners is available on the Bach Centre website.

Are Bach flowers compatible with my medical treatment?
Yes, absolutely. Bach flowers are a gentle and complementary therapy. They do not interfere with any medication and are never a substitute for medical care. They accompany, support, and strengthen — without ever conflicting with treatment.

How many sessions are necessary?
Each journey is unique. Even one session can already bring real relief. In general, 2 to 3 consultations allow for lasting emotional balance. You move forward at your own pace, with no obligation.

How should Bach flowers be taken?

Bach flowers can be taken directly in the mouth or diluted in a glass, bottle, or 30 ml dropper bottle with spring water. Up to 7 Bach flowers may be combined in one bottle, stored away from heat, to address deeper emotional needs requiring longer-term use.

Taking a single flower remedy:
For a temporary need, take 2 drops of the flower essence corresponding to your emotional imbalance (4 drops for Rescue), directly in the mouth, at least 4 times a day, until your emotional state improves.

Preparing a flower blend in a dilution bottle:
After identifying the flower(s) you need (maximum 7), place 2 drops of each essence (4 drops for Rescue) into a new or sterilized 30 ml tinted dilution bottle filled two-thirds with spring water. Shake the bottle after closing it and take 4 drops of the blend — or 2 sprays if using a spray bottle — directly in the mouth, at least 4 times a day, for 3 weeks.

Does it work for children?
Absolutely. Bach flowers are especially gentle and suitable for children and teenagers — helping them through difficult emotions, school stress, family changes, and concentration difficulties.

What if I don’t know exactly what I’m feeling?
That is precisely where my role begins. You do not need to find the words before the session. Together, we will uncover them. The consultation is there to clarify, bring awareness, and translate emotions into understanding.

Are sessions reimbursed?
Bach flowers are not reimbursed by French Social Security. Some health insurance providers cover complementary therapies — please check with your provider.

Can I book a remote consultation?
Yes. I offer video consultations, with your personalized remedy bottle sent by mail. Distance does not affect the quality of listening and support.

Which laboratory have I chosen to work with?
I have chosen to work with the DEVA laboratory for the flower essences prepared at the practice. Located in the heart of the Vercors Natural Park, in a preserved environment renowned for the richness and diversity of its flora, the laboratory produces its remedies using organic farming methods and 100% artisanal production.
